Schools of today

The education of today has a lot of problem, not only here, but in all the countries in the world. That is because in the school the kind of knowledge taught into the children’s is only one of so many. If we think in the modern schools, we can see a lot of great student, with a lot of knowledge in mathematics, sciences and history but, in my opinion, they have two problem mentioned by Sir Kevin Robinson: The first is the death of the imagination in the youth people, because since we enter into the school, the teacher says all the things that we can and we can’t do, or how we have to draw some figure, or how we have to answer some question. I think that is a problem because we are creating a kind of “robot” who only is going to do his work, without any kind of question or ambition.
In the second place, I think the fact that the education is killing the creativity is a reason of why our children’s has no interest in the art, the music or in their partners, because the only thing that they can do is what the teacher, or the parents says. But at the same time, we can fix that problem, starting in our houses, encouraging the creativity and imagination in our children’s.

The last journey of Ray Lewis

The leadership is an attribute that makes the difference between two persons. For me, you can have all the power of the world, but isn't enough to make the difference between a good and a bad leader. To be a good leader, you need to impact in the life or work of your partners, being a support to them. And today I going to talk about a great leader in his 17 year career in the National Football League, NFL, a sport that I like a lot.
Ray Lewis was a linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens and make an immediate impact in the history of the team, who was the newest team in the league at the time that Lewis enter in the league, and 17 year later, the team has won two Super Bowl, the title of the NFL. In all that years, Lewis become in an instant leader for the team, with his winning attitude and his vocal leadership. In his final season as a pro, Lewis injured after 6 games (a normal season have 16 games), and against all the odds, he can play in the playoffs and lead the team to the championship, the best way to finish his great career. He was only one of two players that won the first championship with the team in 2000, and his character and role of leader was crucial in a inexperienced team. Its notable that even with his personal troubles, like a murder charge and  problems with drugs, Ray Lewis never has been questioned for his teammates and people around the NFL, a big prove of his leadership and impact in the people.

The new British rock

It takes a lot of attitude and work to make a name in the music history of a country, especially one with a lot of tradition and big names, like the English music. The Arctic Monkeys has made their name in the world basically breaking with the model established for the culture, and their first disc "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" is a prove of that.
This album was released in  2006, and make an immediately impact in the people for a lot of reason. First, this studio album broke whit a lot of records in the industry music of England, in terms of sales, becoming the fastest selling debut album in British music history. Second, the Arctic Monkeys has become the pioneers of the new "brit rock" with their style of playing, who has been described like a "garage rock", and at the same time, the lyrics of all the song in the album are a reflection of the common life in England, and describes situations about the behavior in nightclubs and romantic relationships.
In my opinion this album is way better than the others that the band has released in his career, because his style and music is very simple and authentic, and at the same time, like the name of the album indicates, is not care about what the others think about their work. I remember when I listen for the first time this album, in the 2007, and it was an explosion in my mind, with a lot of attitude and power. And like I said, this album has make a huge impact in the music of England, defining the new style of  "British rock".

In the past two months, the most important organization of football in the world, FIFA, has been in the middle of a huge scandal. In the end, all the world has seen how  some FIFA's directors were chased by the U.S. justice, and the most important figure of the organization, Joseph Blatter, has quit his position of president of FIFA.

In an article of "The Guardian", Chung Mong-joon, a candidate for the presidence of FIFA, criticized the attitude of Blatter in the middle of the crisis inside the FIFA, because in his opinion, the former president of FIFA "tries to blame everybody except himself". At the same time, the former vicepresident of FIFA believes that Michelle Platini, another candidate for the presidence of FIFA, is not the right person to bring some changes in the organization, because he took some help from Blatter. In the words of the South Korean Chung, Platini is "very much a product of the current system". The article also show how the Asian Football Confederation wants to stay unify behind only one candidate, whit the idea of  make a change in the structure of the FIFA.

In my opinon, is interesting see how a lot of people want to be the next FIFA's president, seeing in that position an oportunity to make big changes in the organization. We all see how the football has change in the time, but at the same time, many people see that change as something wrong and sad. In the modern football, all that matters at the end is how much money a team could make, and the most important thing, the game and passion we see in every football game, take a secondary rol.

Former Fifa vice president Chung Mong-joon will make his formal announcement about his candidacy next month.

A travel to the south of chile

My holidays was an incredible experience, because, in my opinion, I traveled to the most beautiful place in Chile, the south of this country. It was at the middle of January when this experience start, and the travel was a cool moment, mostly because I went whit my parents, my sister, my brother, his girlfriend and my niece.
It was a crazy journey, since we started  the travel at 6 am. and arrived to the town of Villarrica at 4 pm. This wasn't the first time we went to that place, but the reason I think this was the best holidays in my life is all the places we visited in our trip. We went to all the lakes near to Lican Ray, where I saw some of the most amaizing landscapes I seen in my life, and also, the water of the lakes was so ideal to swim for hours. Also, we visited some national parks of the zone, and eat the local food, like the trout. Even we climbed the Villarrica volcano, the same it started to erupt a month ago.
At the end, It was an amaizing two weeks with the best company I could ask. Since this holidays, I started to enjoy every moment in my life like it was the last, because it was like an injection of new energy.

A country I would like to visit

There are a lot of places I like to visit. In first place, I never have travel outside of my country, Chile, because I never had the oportunity to do it. That no mean I don't want know another countries, in fact, I like know another cultures and traditions.
If I have to choose one country to know right now, I pick Argentina, because I like their history and traditions. Also, I love the football, and I think the Argentine people are the best fan in the world, and is incredible how they go to the field every weekend and fill the stadium of their teams. Personally, i like to know the stadiums of "Racing de Avellaneda" and "Chacarita Juniors" teams.
Also, I would like visit the south of Argentina, because is very similar to the south of Chile, and I love it. Bariloche is a beautiful city, with a impressive architecture ans some unbelievable scenery.
So, if I start to travel around the world, I think Argentina is a great place to start, and from there, I would like to travel around Latin America and the world.
